Modular Synth Superstars Jerry Kaba + Stefano Daddi return to The Gatherings Concert Series on Saturday 10 October 2026 (with video artistry by Neil Cippon and Samara Talkin) within the remarkable church sanctuary of St Mary's Hamilton Village.

Jerry Kaba

Jerry Kaba performs regularly making experimental music using modular synthesizers. Known widely as host of Modular on the Spot events in Philadelphia (the growing mostly monthly modular synthesizer series of outdoor free picnics worldwide) his own music is entirely a free-form practice of spontaneous composition, realized only in the act of playing. Every project is approached with a different set of instruments and techniques, as Kaba constantly challenges himself and his audience to go further. From his remarkable 2025 performance for The Gatherings Concert Series arose the benefit album The Gatherings 10 May 2025.

Stefano Daddi

Stefano Daddi makes experimental music with modular synthesizers and performs regularly.
For the past several years he has co-hosted Modular on the Spot events in Philadelphia - a monthly modular synthesizer outdoor free picnic series. His music asks the listener to ponder an expression of timbre made in electronic sound.

Neil Cippon/Samara Talkin

This event will include the video artistry of Neil Cippon and Samara Talkin.
Generating projections of original, ever-evolving graphics onto the interior features of the St Mary's staging space, their visual output aligns with the improvised live musical expressions conjured by the musicians.

The Gatherings Concert Series presents Jerry Kaba plus Stefano Daddi live in concert on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 8:00PM. (doors open at 7:30PM) in the church sanctuary of St. Mary's Hamilton Village 3916 Locust Walk (just east of 40th & Locust) on the Penn campus in West Philadelphia. Free Admission/Donations Requested. Advance Registration is advised through Humanitix.
